These are isoflavones featuring a C5-isoprenoid unit at the 2'-position. 7-Hydroxy-5'-methoxy-2'-prenyloxazol[2'',3'':4',3']isoflavone is found in Piscidia erythrina and Piscidia piscipula. 7-Hydroxy-3-[4-methoxy-7-(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)-1,3-benzoxazol-6-yl]-4H-chromen-4-one is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
