Description7,14-Dihydroxy-13-methoxy-5-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-2,17-dioxatetracyclo[8.7.0.0³,⁸.0¹¹,¹⁶]Heptadeca-1(10),3,5,7,11,13,15-heptaen-9-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as isoflavones. These are polycyclic compounds containing a 2-isoflavene skeleton which bears a ketone group at the C4 carbon atom. 5,7,4'-Trihydroxy-5'-methoxycoumaronochromone 7-O-glucoside is found in Desmodium oxyphyllum and Hylodesmum podocarpum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 7,14-dihydroxy-13-methoxy-5-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-2,17-dioxatetracyclo[8.7.0.0³,⁸.0¹¹,¹⁶]Heptadeca-1(10),3,5,7,11,13,15-heptaen-9-one.
