Description5-Hydroxy-4'-methoxy-6,7-methylenedioxy isoflavone belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 4'-o-methylisoflavones. These are isoflavones with methoxy groups attached to the C4' atom of the isoflavone backbone. 4'-Methoxy nigricin,5-Hydroxy-4'-methoxy-6,7-methylenedioxyisoflavone is found in Iris sofarana and Iris soforana. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 5-hydroxy-4'-methoxy-6,7-methylenedioxy isoflavone.
