These are isoflavones with methoxy groups attached to the C7 atom of the isoflavone backbone. 3'-Hydroxy-5,6,7,2'-tetramethoxyisoflavone is found in Halothamnus somalensis and Salsola somalensis. 3-(3-Hydroxy-2-methoxyphenyl)-5,6,7-trimethoxy-4H-chromen-4-one is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). |
