Description | Sporogen-ao-1 belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. Thus, sporogen-ao-1 is considered to be an isoprenoid. (+)-13-Deoxyphomenone is found in Aspergillus oryzae, Hansfordia pulvinata and Penicillium copticola. (+)-13-Deoxyphomenone was first documented in 2022 (PMID: 32573276). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on Sporogen-ao-1. |
