Carbazoles are compounds containing a three ring system containing a pyrrole ring fused on either side to a benzene ring. Antiostatin A2 is found in Streptomyces cyaneus 2007-SV1. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on N-{3-hydroxy-2-methyl-1-[(3R)-3-methylpentyl]-9H-carbazol-4-yl}ethanimidic acid.
