| Description | 2-Hydroxy-6-[(2R)-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-{[(2R,3S,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}ethyl]benzoic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as stilbene glycosides. Stilbene glycosides are compounds structurally characterized by the presence of a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to the stilbene skeleton. Hydrangea glucoside B is found in Hydrangea macrophylla var thunbergii and Hydrangea serrata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-hydroxy-6-[(2R)-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-{[(2R,3S,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}ethyl]benzoic acid. |
