Phenanthrols are compounds containing a phenanthrene (or its hydrogenated derivative) to which a hydroxyl group is attached. 2,6-Dihydroxy-7-methyl-1-methylthiophenanthrene is found in Micrandropsis scleroxylon. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 7-methyl-1-(methylsulfanyl)phenanthrene-2,6-diol. |
