Common Name3'-(4-Feruloyloxy-3-methylbutyl-2(E)-enyl)-2,4,2',4'-tetrahydroxychalcone
DescriptionIsogemichalcone c belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 3-prenylated chalcones. These are chalcones featuring a C5-isoprenoid unit at the 3-position. Thus, isogemichalcone c is considered to be a flavonoid. 3'-(4-Feruloyloxy-3-methylbutyl-2(E)-enyl)-2,4,2',4'-tetrahydroxychalcone is found in Broussonetia papyrifera . 3'-(4-Feruloyloxy-3-methylbutyl-2(E)-enyl)-2,4,2',4'-tetrahydroxychalcone was first documented in 2001 (PMID: 11678652). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Isogemichalcone c.
