Description[(2R,3R,4S,5R,6S)-4-(acetyloxy)-3,5-dihydroxy-6-{[(2S)-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4-oxo-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-7-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]methyl (2E)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-7-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C7-position. 5,7,4'-Trihydroxyflavanone 7-[3-acetyl-6-p-coumaroylglucoside] is found in Alectis ciliaris and Blepharis ciliaris. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on [(2R,3R,4S,5R,6S)-4-(acetyloxy)-3,5-dihydroxy-6-{[(2S)-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4-oxo-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-7-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]methyl (2E)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate.
