Description2'-Hydroxymatteucinol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 4'-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C4' atom of the flavonoid backbone. Thus, 2'-hydroxymatteucinol is considered to be a flavonoid. 2'-Hydroxymatteucinol is found in Matteuccia orientalis . 2'-Hydroxymatteucinol was first documented in 1993 (PMID: 8281576). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2'-hydroxymatteucinol.
