Description(2R)-5-Hydroxy-7,2',3'-trimethoxyflavanone belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 7-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C7 atom of the flavonoid backbone. Thus, (2R)-5-hydroxy-7,2',3'-trimethoxyflavanone is considered to be a flavonoid. (2R)-5-Hydroxy-7,2',3'-trimethoxyflavanone is found in Andrographis viscosula. (2R)-5-Hydroxy-7,2',3'-trimethoxyflavanone was first documented in 2003 (PMID: 14646312). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R)-5-Hydroxy-7,2',3'-trimethoxyflavanone.
