Natural Product Identification
Common Name5,2'-Dihydroxy-7-methoxyflavanone
DescriptionDihydroechioidinin belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 7-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C7 atom of the flavonoid backbone. Thus, dihydroechioidinin is considered to be a flavonoid. 5,2'-Dihydroxy-7-methoxyflavanone is found in Andrographis echioides and Andrographis lineata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Dihydroechioidinin.
