| Description | 6-[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6S)-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-3-{[(2R,3R,4R,5S)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-{[(2S,3S,4S,5S)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-7-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C7-position. Isovitexin 7-O-xyloside 2''-O-arabinoside is found in Melandrium album and Silene latifolia. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 6-[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6S)-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-3-{[(2R,3R,4R,5S)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-{[(2S,3S,4S,5S)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-4H-chromen-4-one. |
