| Description | Quercetagetin 7-methyl ether 3-cellobioside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Thus, quercetagetin 7-methyl ether 3-cellobioside is considered to be a flavonoid. 2-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)-3-[(4-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-beta-D-glucopyranosyl)oxy]-5,6-dihydroxy-7-methoxy-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one is found in Paepalanthus latipes and Paepalanthus vellozioides. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Quercetagetin 7-methyl ether 3-cellobioside. |
