Description | 3-{[(2R,3R,4S,5S)-3,4-dihydroxy-5-({[(2R,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-7-methoxy-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. 3-[(5-O-beta-D-Glucopyranosyl-alpha-L-arabinofuranosyl)oxy]-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-7-methoxy-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one is found in Retama sphaerocarpa . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3-{[(2R,3R,4S,5S)-3,4-dihydroxy-5-({[(2R,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-7-methoxy-4H-chromen-4-one. |
