Description7-{[(2R,3R,4R,5S,6S)-3-amino-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-3,5-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-7-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C7-position. 7-[(2-Amino-2-deoxy-alpha-D-glucopyranosyl)oxy]-3,5-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one is found in Halocnemum strobilaceum . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 7-{[(2R,3R,4R,5S,6S)-3-amino-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-3,5-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-4H-chromen-4-one.
