| Description | 5-Hydroxy-2-(2-hydroxy-6-{[(2S,3S,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}phenyl)-6,7,8-trimethoxy-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 8-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C8 atom of the flavonoid backbone. 2-[2-(beta-D-Glucopyranosyloxy)-6-hydroxyphenyl]-5-hydroxy-6,7,8-trimethoxy-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one is found in Scutellaria baicalensis . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 5-hydroxy-2-(2-hydroxy-6-{[(2S,3S,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}phenyl)-6,7,8-trimethoxy-4H-chromen-4-one. |
