Description3,5,7-Tris(acetyloxy)-8-methoxy-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 8-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C8 atom of the flavonoid backbone. Thus, 3,5,7-tris(acetyloxy)-8-methoxy-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one is considered to be a flavonoid. 3,5,7-Tris(acetyloxy)-8-methoxy-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one is found in Zanthoxylum integrifoliolum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3,5,7-Tris(acetyloxy)-8-methoxy-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one.
