Description3,5,8,4'-Tetrahydroxy-7,3'-dimethoxy-6-(3-methylbut-2''-enyl)flavone belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 6-prenylated flavones. These are flavones that features a C5-isoprenoid substituent at the 6-position. Thus, 3,5,8,4'-tetrahydroxy-7,3'-dimethoxy-6-(3-methylbut-2''-enyl)flavone is considered to be a flavonoid lipid molecule. 3,5,8,4'-Tetrahydroxy-7,3'-dimethoxy-6-(3-methylbut-2''-enyl)flavone is found in Melicope micrococca. 3,5,8,4'-Tetrahydroxy-7,3'-dimethoxy-6-(3-methylbut-2''-enyl)flavone is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble (in water), and relatively neutral.
