| Description | 5-Hydroxy-8-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-10-methoxy-2,2-dimethyl-2h,6h-benzo[1,2-b:5,4-B']dipyran-6-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as pyranoflavonoids. Pyranoflavonoids are compounds containing a pyran ring fused to a 2-phenyl-1,4-benzopyran skeleton. Thus, 5-hydroxy-8-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-10-methoxy-2,2-dimethyl-2H,6H-benzo[1,2-b:5,4-B']dipyran-6-one is considered to be a flavonoid lipid molecule. 5-Hydroxy-8-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-10-methoxy-2,2-dimethyl-2H,6H-benzo[1,2-b:5,4-b']dipyran-6-one is found in Neoraputia paraensis. 5-Hydroxy-8-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-10-methoxy-2,2-dimethyl-2h,6h-benzo[1,2-b:5,4-B']dipyran-6-one is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble (in water), and relatively neutral. |
