Description8,3'-Dihydroxy-5,7,4'-trimethoxyflavone belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 7-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C7 atom of the flavonoid backbone. Thus, 8,3'-dihydroxy-5,7,4'-trimethoxyflavone is considered to be a flavonoid. 8-Hydroxy-2-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-5,7-dimethoxy-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one is found in Verbena littoralis . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 8,3'-Dihydroxy-5,7,4'-trimethoxyflavone.
