Description(1S,2S,5S,6R,7S,8S,9R,12S)-7-(acetyloxy)-6-[(acetyloxy)methyl]-2,8,12-trihydroxy-2,10,10-trimethyl-11-oxatricyclo[7.2.1.0¹,⁶]Dodecan-5-yl benzoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as agarofurans. These are organic compounds containing an agarofuran moiety( a three-ring system, with core fragment oxatricyclo[7.2.1.0^{1,6}]Dodec-2-ene). [3R-(3a,4b,5a,5aa,6a,9b,9aa,10R*)]-5a-[(acetyloxy)methyl]octahydro-2,2,9-trimethyl-2H-3,9a-Methano-1-benzoxepin-4,5,6,9,10-pentol 5-acetate 6-benzoate is found in Rzedowskia tolantonguensis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,2S,5S,6R,7S,8S,9R,12S)-7-(acetyloxy)-6-[(acetyloxy)methyl]-2,8,12-trihydroxy-2,10,10-trimethyl-11-oxatricyclo[7.2.1.0¹,⁶]Dodecan-5-yl benzoate.
