| Description | (1R,3R,7S,12S,14R,15R,16S,17S,20Z,22E,24S,28R)-24-acetyl-28-hydroxy-10,16-dimethyl-2,5,13,18,25-pentaoxaspiro[hexacyclo[22.3.1.1¹⁴,¹⁷.0¹,³.0⁷,¹².0⁷,¹⁶]Nonacosane-15,2'-oxirane]-10,20,22-triene-4,19-dione belongs to the class of organic compounds known as trichothecenes. These are sesquiterpene mycotoxins structurally characterized by the presence of an epoxide ring and a benzopyran derivative with a variant number of hydroxyl, acetyl, or other substituents. The most important structural features causing the biological activities of trichothecenes are the 12,13-epoxy ring, the presence of hydroxyl or acetyl groups at appropriate positions on the trichothecene nucleus and the structure and position of the side-chain. Satratoxin F is found in Stachybotrys chartarum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,3R,7S,12S,14R,15R,16S,17S,20Z,22E,24S,28R)-24-acetyl-28-hydroxy-10,16-dimethyl-2,5,13,18,25-pentaoxaspiro[hexacyclo[22.3.1.1¹⁴,¹⁷.0¹,³.0⁷,¹².0⁷,¹⁶]Nonacosane-15,2'-oxirane]-10,20,22-triene-4,19-dione. |
