| Description | (3AS,4S,5S,6S,9S,11aR)-5-(acetyloxy)-6,9-dihydroxy-6,10-dimethyl-3-methylidene-2,7-dioxo-2H,3H,3aH,4H,5H,6H,7H,8H,9H,11aH-cyclodeca[b]furan-4-yl (2E)-2-methylbut-2-enoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as germacranolides and derivatives. These are sesquiterpene lactones with a structure based on the germacranolide skeleton, characterized by a gamma lactone fused to a 1,7-dimethylcyclodec-1-ene moiety. [3aS-[3aR*,4R*(Z),5R*,6R*,9S*,10E,11aS*]]-5-(Acetyloxy)-2,3,3a,4,5,6,7,8,9,11a-decahydro-6,9-dihydroxy-6,10-dimethyl-3-methylene-2,7-dioxocyclodeca[b]furan-4-yl ester 2-methylbutenoic acid is found in Trichogonia salviaefolia. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (3aS,4S,5S,6S,9S,11aR)-5-(acetyloxy)-6,9-dihydroxy-6,10-dimethyl-3-methylidene-2,7-dioxo-2H,3H,3aH,4H,5H,6H,7H,8H,9H,11aH-cyclodeca[b]furan-4-yl (2E)-2-methylbut-2-enoate. |
