| Description | (2E,6R)-2-methyl-6-[(1S)-4-methyl-2-oxocyclohex-3-en-1-yl]hept-2-en-1-yl acetate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. [S-[R*,S*-(E)]]-6-[6-(Acetyloxy)-1,5-dimethyl-4-hexenyl]-3-methyl-2-cyclohexen-1-one is found in Senecio smithii. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2E,6R)-2-methyl-6-[(1S)-4-methyl-2-oxocyclohex-3-en-1-yl]hept-2-en-1-yl acetate. |
