| Description | (2E,6S)-2-methyl-6-[(1R)-4-methylidenecyclohex-2-en-1-yl]hept-2-enal belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. [S-[R*,S*-(E)]]-2-Methyl-6-(4-methylene-2-cyclohexen-1-yl)-2-heptenal is found in Tarchonanthus trilobus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2E,6S)-2-methyl-6-[(1R)-4-methylidenecyclohex-2-en-1-yl]hept-2-enal. |
