| Description | (8S)-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3,5-dihydroxy-8-methyl-6-(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)-8-(4-methylpent-3-en-1-yl)-4H,8H-pyrano[2,3-f]chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 6-prenylated flavones. These are flavones that features a C5-isoprenoid substituent at the 6-position. 2-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)-3,5-dihydroxy-8-methyl-6-(3-methyl-2-butenyl)-8-(4-methyl-3-pentenyl)-4H,8H-benzo[1,2-b:3,4-b']dipyran-4-one is found in Dorstenia ciliata and Dorstenia poinsettifolia. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (8S)-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3,5-dihydroxy-8-methyl-6-(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)-8-(4-methylpent-3-en-1-yl)-4H,8H-pyrano[2,3-f]chromen-4-one. |
