These are prenol lipids containing a lactone ring. Foliamenthin is found in Menyanthes trifoliata . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (3R,4aS,5S,6S)-5-ethenyl-1-oxo-6-{[(2S,3S,4S,5S,6S)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-1H,3H,4H,4aH,5H,6H-pyrano[3,4-c]pyran-3-yl (2E,6E)-8-hydroxy-2,6-dimethylocta-2,6-dienoate. |
