| Description | Methyl (1S,4aR,5R,6R,7S,7aR)-4a,5,6-trihydroxy-7-methyl-1-{[(2S,3S,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-1H,4aH,5H,6H,7H,7aH-cyclopenta[c]pyran-4-carboxylate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as iridoid o-glycosides. These are iridoid monoterpenes containing a glycosyl (usually a pyranosyl) moiety linked to the iridoid skeleton. Pulchelloside I is found in Glandularia tenera and Verbena pulchella. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on methyl (1S,4aR,5R,6R,7S,7aR)-4a,5,6-trihydroxy-7-methyl-1-{[(2S,3S,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-1H,4aH,5H,6H,7H,7aH-cyclopenta[c]pyran-4-carboxylate. |
