These are aromatic compounds containing Aromatic compounds containing a cinnamic acid moiety (or a derivative thereof) hydroxylated at the C2 (ortho-), C3 (meta-), or C4 (para-) carbon atom of the benzene ring. Picroside III is found in Neopicrorhiza scrophulariiflora , Picrorhiza kurrooa, Picrorrhiza kurrooa, Scutellaria albida and Scutellaria albida subsp.albida. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on [(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-{[(1S,2S,4S,5S,6R,10S)-5-hydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)-3,9-dioxatricyclo[4.4.0.0²,⁴]Dec-7-en-10-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]methyl (2E)-3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate. |
