These are isoflavones with methoxy groups attached to the C4' atom of the isoflavone backbone. Thus, 2'-hydroxypiscerythrinetin is considered to be a flavonoid lipid molecule. 2'-Hydroxypiscerythrinetin is found in Piscidia erythrina and Piscidia piscipula . 2'-Hydroxypiscerythrinetin is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble (in water), and relatively neutral. |
