DescriptionPanchovillin belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 4'-o-methylisoflavones. These are isoflavones with methoxy groups attached to the C4' atom of the isoflavone backbone. Thus, panchovillin is considered to be a flavonoid lipid molecule. 5,7-Dihydroxy-3',4',5'-trimethoxyisoflavone is found in Olneya tesota . Panchovillin is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble (in water), and relatively neutral.
