DescriptionPratensein 3'-o-methyl ether belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 4'-o-methylisoflavones. These are isoflavones with methoxy groups attached to the C4' atom of the isoflavone backbone. 5,7-Dihydroxy-3',4'-dimethoxyisoflavone is found in Bolusanthus speciosus and Streptomyces griseus. Pratensein 3'-o-methyl ether is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble (in water), and relatively neutral.
