These are polycyclic aromatic compounds containing a coumestan moiety, which consists of a benzoxole fused to a chromen-2-one to form 1-Benzoxolo[3,2-c]chromen-6-one. They are oxidation products of pterocarpan. Corylidin is found in Psoralea corylifolia . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (18R,19S)-6,18,19-trihydroxy-17,17-dimethyl-3,12,16-trioxapentacyclo[11.8.0.0²,¹⁰.0⁴,⁹.0¹⁵,²⁰]Henicosa-1(13),2(10),4(9),5,7,14,20-heptaen-11-one. |
