Description | (1R,12R)-17-methoxy-5,7,11,19-tetraoxapentacyclo[10.8.0.0²,¹⁰.0⁴,⁸.0¹³,¹⁸]Icosa-2,4(8),9,13(18),14,16-hexaene-1,16-diol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as pterocarpans. These are benzo-pyrano-furano-benzene compounds, containing the 6H-[1]benzofuro[3,2-c]chromene skeleton. They are derivatives of isoflavonoids. 3,6a-Dihydroxy-4-methoxy-8,9-methylenedioxypterocarpan is found in Tephrosia bidwillii. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,12R)-17-methoxy-5,7,11,19-tetraoxapentacyclo[10.8.0.0²,¹⁰.0⁴,⁸.0¹³,¹⁸]Icosa-2,4(8),9,13(18),14,16-hexaene-1,16-diol. |
