Common NameMaximaisoflavone C
DescriptionMaximaisoflavone c belongs to the class of organic compounds known as isoflavones. These are polycyclic compounds containing a 2-isoflavene skeleton which bears a ketone group at the C4 carbon atom. Thus, maximaisoflavone c is considered to be a flavonoid lipid molecule. Maximaisoflavone C is found in Tephrosia maxima and Tephrosia purpurea . Maximaisoflavone c is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble (in water), and relatively neutral.
