Common NameSymplocoside
DescriptionSymplocoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-7-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C7-position. Thus, symplocoside is considered to be a flavonoid. Symplocoside is found in Ephedra sinica , Pseudotsuga menziesii and Symplocos uniflora. Symplocoside was first documented in 2009 (PMID: 19931496). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on Symplocoside (PMID: 23666001) (PMID: 26851499) (PMID: 19894535).
