| Description | 2',4,4',6'-Tetrahydroxychalcone 4'-O-beta-D-glucoside, also known as chalconaringenin 4'-glucoside or THC 4'-glucoside, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid o-glycosides. Flavonoid O-glycosides are compounds containing a carbohydrate moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to the 2-phenylchromen-4-one flavonoid backbone. 2',4,4',6'-Tetrahydroxychalcone 4'-O-beta-D-glucoside is a primary metabolite. Primary metabolites are metabolically or physiologically essential metabolites. They are directly involved in an organism’s growth, development or reproduction. Chalconaringenin 4'-glucoside is found in Antirrhinum majus and Sorghum sp.. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2',4,4',6'-tetrahydroxychalcone 4'-O-beta-D-glucoside. |
