These are organic compounds containing chalcone skeleton that carries a hydroxyl group at the 2'-position. Thus, laxichalcone is considered to be a flavonoid. Laxichalcone is found in Derris laxiflora and Derris laxifolia. Laxichalcone was first documented in 2016 (PMID: 26791751). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Laxichalcone.
