DescriptionPedicellin belongs to the class of organic compounds known as linear 1,3-diarylpropanoids. These are organic compounds with a structure based on a C6-C3-C6 skeleton, where the two benzene rings are not linked together. Thus, pedicellin is considered to be a flavonoid. Pedicellin is found in Didymocarpus pedicellata , Gentiana pedicellata and Lindera lucida. Pedicellin was first documented in 1983 (PMID: 17405061). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Pedicellin.
