DescriptionIsoliquiritigenin 4'-methyl ether belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 2'-hydroxychalcones. These are organic compounds containing chalcone skeleton that carries a hydroxyl group at the 2'-position. Thus, isoliquiritigenin 4'-methyl ether is considered to be a flavonoid. Isoliquiritigenin 4'-methyl ether is found in Artemisia campestris, Artemisia palustris, Ateleia herbert-smithii, Caesalpinia pulcherrima , Dahlia tenuicaulis, Oxytropis falcata, Soymida febrifuga, Xanthorrhoea australis and Xanthorrhoea resinosa. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Isoliquiritigenin 4'-methyl ether.
