| Description | 3-[(2-O-beta-D-Glucopyranosyl-beta-D-glucopyranosyl)oxy]-4',5,7-trihydroxy-3'-methoxyflavylium belongs to the class of organic compounds known as anthocyanidin-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing one anthocyanidin moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to a carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Thus, 3-[(2-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-beta-D-glucopyranosyl)oxy]-4',5,7-trihydroxy-3'-methoxyflavylium is considered to be a flavonoid. Peonidin 3-sophoroside is found in Tibouchina grandiflora. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3-[(2-O-beta-D-Glucopyranosyl-beta-D-glucopyranosyl)oxy]-4',5,7-trihydroxy-3'-methoxyflavylium. |
