Description3-[(2R)-1-(2,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3,3-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1-oxopropan-2-yl]-7-hydroxy-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 2'-hydroxy-dihydrochalcones. These are organic compounds containing dihydrochalcone skeleton that carries a hydroxyl group at the 2'-position. Lophirone A is found in Campylospermum glaucum, Campylospermum sulcatum, Lophira alata , Lophira lanceolata , Ochna calodendron, Ochna integerrima and Ouratea sulcata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3-[(2R)-1-(2,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3,3-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1-oxopropan-2-yl]-7-hydroxy-4H-chromen-4-one.
