| Description | 5-Hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-methoxy-6-[(2S,3R,4R,5S,6S)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid c-glycosides. Flavonoid C-glycosides are compounds containing a carbohydrate moiety which is C-glycosidically linked to the 2-phenylchromen-4-one flavonoid backbone. 6-beta-D-Glucopyranosyl-4',5-dihydroxy-7-methoxyflavone is found in Achillea spp., Commelina communis, Commelina communis L , Ephedra sinica , Gaillardia aristata, Gaillardia pulchella, Gentiana campestris, Iris florentina, Iris germanica, Iris japonica , Knautia montana, Oxalis corniculata , Scabiosa atropurpurea , Swertia japonica , Swertia purpurascens, Ziziphus jujuba and Ziziphus jujuba var.spinosa . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-methoxy-6-[(2S,3R,4R,5S,6S)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]-4H-chromen-4-one. |
