| Description | (2S,3R,4S,5R,6S)-6-{[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5-hydroxy-4-oxo-7-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6S)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-4H-chromen-3-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-2-({[(2R,3R,4S,5R,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)oxan-3-yl (2E)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-7-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C7-position. Variabiloside A is found in Strychnos variabilis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S,3R,4S,5R,6S)-6-{[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5-hydroxy-4-oxo-7-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6S)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-4H-chromen-3-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-2-({[(2R,3R,4S,5R,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)oxan-3-yl (2E)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate. |
