Description3-{[(2R,3S,4S,5R,6S)-6-{[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5-hydroxy-4-oxo-7-{[(2S,3R,4S,5R,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}-4H-chromen-3-yl]oxy}-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]methoxy}-3-oxopropanoic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-7-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C7-position. Quercetin 3-(6''-malonylglucoside)-7-rhamnoside is found in Equisetum silvaticum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3-{[(2R,3S,4S,5R,6S)-6-{[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5-hydroxy-4-oxo-7-{[(2S,3R,4S,5R,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}-4H-chromen-3-yl]oxy}-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]methoxy}-3-oxopropanoic acid.
