DescriptionQuercetin 3-(6''-galloylgalactoside) belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Thus, quercetin 3-(6''-galloylgalactoside) is considered to be a flavonoid. Quercetin 3-(6''-galloylgalactoside) is found in Arctostaphylos uva-ursi , Epilobium angustifolium , Epilobium dodonaei, Erodium cicutarium, Eucalyptus consideniana, Eucalyptus cypellocarpa, Eucalyptus ovata, Euphorbia dulcis, Euphorbia platyphyllos, Excoecaria agallocha, Geranium tuberosum, Pemphis acidula, Dasiphora fruticosa, Sanguisorba minor, Sclerocarya birrea, Tagetes elliptica , Tellima grandiflora, Pleroma semidecandrum and Woodfordia fruticosa . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Quercetin 3-(6''-galloylgalactoside).
