| Description | 3-{[(2S,3S,4R,5R,6S)-4,5-dihydroxy-6-methyl-3-{[(2S,3S,4S,5R)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]oxy}-5,7-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-8-(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Ikarisoside F is found in Epimedium brevicornum , Epimedium grandiflorum , Epimedium koreanum , Epimedium pubescens , Epimedium sagittatum , Epimedium wushanense and Vancouveria hexandra. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3-{[(2S,3S,4R,5R,6S)-4,5-dihydroxy-6-methyl-3-{[(2S,3S,4S,5R)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]oxy}-5,7-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-8-(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)-4H-chromen-4-one. |
