| Description | 2-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-8-methyl-3-{[(2R,3S,4R,5S)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. 8-C-Methylquercetin 3-xyloside is found in Amoora rohituka. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-8-methyl-3-{[(2R,3S,4R,5S)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-4H-chromen-4-one. |
